How is the Message Packed?
Our viral marketing example consists of three carefully crafted web-pages, and a free report with 110 easy to use methods to increase traffic to your website.
The first page asks you register with your name and email address to get the report. Upon submitting the form with your information, you reach a second page, asking you to check your email inbox for a confirmation request. After clicking the confirmation link in that email, you reach the third page, which contains a download link, not only for the report, but for a package containing the report and the complete website to pass it on.

What is in it for the Customer?
The customer, end user of the report gets 110 ideas he can use to increase traffic to his website. This can be a high dollar value, especially for somebody, whose ideas are limited to pay per click traffic.

What’s i it for Me?
In this viral marketing example I spread the word. As a result I get an email list of people, who try to move something in the internet. I can contact them from time to time, and build a relationship of trust with them. And I can approach my subscribers proactively, when I have something special to communicate, instead of giving them a standard message if and when they pass by a second time at my website.

And what is in it for Doug and Teri?
Doug and Teri, who initiated this viral marketing system, get their message out. And I guess they make quite a bit of money with it. Many people receive Doug and Teri’s traffic report which contains links to their website.
Their message is that they are knowledgeable internet marketers and traffic experts, willing and able to help newcomers. And more money finds a way to them because quite a few people will buy one or more of the products they list in the resource section, as they dig deeper into one or another traffic getting idea.
